The rules are strict but simple. Keep your face completely dry for at least 24 hours after your session. Water will deactivate the process and irritate. If you book the intensive C Peel, you cannot get your face wet until you return to the clinic for your follow-up appointment.
You will feel a prickly, tingling sensation as the microscopic sponges are massaged into your skin. It feels like very fine sand. Your face will remain sensitive to touch for about 24 to 48 hours, but it is not painful.
Traditional microneedling uses a metal device to puncture the skin. Herbal peeling uses natural, microscopic marine sponges that stay lodged in the pores for up to 72 hours. They continuously release active ingredients and stimulate blood flow before naturally falling out as your skin sheds.
