Lash Lift & Tint
In the old days, lash perming was the things to do. The issue was that the lashes would over curl, often looking the best after a week, once the lashes had relaxed. Now, with the new lash lift & lift, this treatment beautifully lifts the lashes straight upwards, the tint adds extra definition and that glam pop.
How does it work?
Firstly, the lashes are cleansed and all traces of makeup is removed. Then silicone rods are applied to the lash line. The rods are held in place with a water soluble water, suitable for the delicate eye area. There are different rod sizes to choose from, depending on the length of the lashes. Once the rods are in place, the lash lift activator is applied for up to 10 minutes. Following the removal of lift activator, the neutraliser, is applied to stop the lift processing any further and condition the lashes. Cotton rounds soaked in tepid water, gently dissolves the glue. Using a kidney dish with the head tilted to one side, the neutraliser is removed, taking the rods with it.
Now for the tinting.
With the lashes free from the rods, it’s time to tint. The tint is a vegetable dye, suitable for a sensitive skin. Mostly we use a blend of black and blue/black colour for extra pop. The blue/black tint gives the colour and therefore the lashes depth. Using a barrier cream and lash pads, the skin around the eyes is protected against tint leakage. The tint is applied for up to 10 minutes, during this time you can enjoy a relaxing head massage. A lash tint rinse completes the lash lift & tint treatment.
When to rebook?
Caring for your lashes is easy. For the first 24 hours avoid; hot showers, steam, saunas, swimming pools, excessive sweating and oil based cleansing of the area. We recommend rebooking every 6-8 weeks.
